HOW WE GOT STARTED
Benton Trophy was founded in 1973 by Robert Edelbrock. Bob's idea was to create a trophy business that offered great products and excellent customer service. He began, and ran the business out of his basement in Sauk Rapids, MN for about 17 years.
With hard work and dedication to his customers, Bob joined the Awards & Personalization Association in the early 1980's to grow his business. This organization helped his business with products, services, seminars and resources. In 1996, we lost our beloved father, and husband, and we set out and continued to grow the business he loved.
WHERE WE ARE TODAY
In late 1996 we changed our name to Benton Trophy & Awards Inc. We are now owned and operated by Bob's wife and family. We are still located in Sauk Rapids, MN and continue to focus on what Bob built many years ago. We are now a leader in providing the best quality Awards, Trophies, Engraving, Personalized Gifts, Promotional & Ad Specialties in the Midwest and strive to offer the same outstanding customer service as Bob did when he first opened the doors of Benton Trophy!
