Benton Trophy Online - Full Color Framed Tiles/Murals

These unique frames are a special series designed for high end projects that will stand apart from the crowd. Handcrafted individually, these frames are made from actual lobster traps that have been weathered under water in the pristine Florida Keys for at least 5 seasons. This unusual aging process creates a very rustic wood that is different on each frame. No two are exactly alike and each comes numbered with a colorful and authentic lobster trap tag from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Except for the single 6X8 frame, each comes with a double raised side around the outside edge, and surrounding the tile area for a wonderful shadow box effect. The larger frames also feature authentic pull ropes that have been preserved and placed decoratively around the frame. All have a solid plywood backer board and are completed with a whitewash finish and ready to hang in either a portrait or landscape position.

While not for everyone, tile art displayed in these frames will be treasured by lovers of seafood, the ocean and undersea photography. Of course any image may be used to create a work of art that will definitely get noticed and become a conversation piece like no other!
