we encourage clients to think creatively about ways to
accentuate their awards by using corporate logos or clip
art. Adding logos or images to an award enhances any intended
message. We can accept an array of PC file extensions including
.cdr, .eps, .ai, .jpeg, .tif, .gif, .pcx, or .bmp. Files
should be attached by email after your order is placed
via the online order form. There are two types of images Raster and Vector. If
there are any questions from our artwork department, we
will respond within a few business days of your order placement.
Raster Artwork = .bmp, .jpg,
.gif, .tif, .pcx, .cal, .wi, .png, etc. and any other artwork
that appears blurry on your computer screen, such as artwork
off of a website. Raster files are made up of pixels not
lines as compared to vector artwork files. Some .eps files
are converted as raster files in some programs, when you
convert to a vector file you should be asked to convert to
curves. Some programs convert .eps files as raster files.
Vector Artwork = .cdr, .eps,
.ai, .ps, .prn, wmf, etc. Vector artwork is made up of lines
and or nodes as compared to pixels that make up raster artwork
files. Some .eps files are converted as raster files in some
programs, when you convert to a vector file you should be
asked to convert to curves. Some programs convert .eps files
as raster files. Highly recommended
for the best possible output.
Artwork Specifications:
1. Must be PC compatible
2. We can accept artwork on floppy, zip disk,
compact disk, or electronic mail.
3. We prefer camera ready black and white artwork.
(color will work)
4. Shades and halftones don't work well.
5. Please avoid very tiny artwork that must
be enlarged. (the larger the image, the better it will look)
6. Our art charge is a $35 one time set-up
charge. (we keep your artwork on file for future use)
7. Please limit e-mail file sizes
8. Please "convert type to outlines" whenever
possible (we may not have your font).
9. Vector files work the best
10. Artwork from a website or low resolution
will not work for reproduction.
11. Always send us the font used in your logo
to assure proper reproduction (we have thousands of fonts
but may not have the one you use)
To ensure the absolute best quality,
we will need your artwork in the following program: 1.
Corel Draw 13.0 (X3) or older (text and artwork converted
to curves) 2. PC Compatible Vector Artwork (line drawing,
made of nodes & lines)
Trademarks, Copyrights, Registration
Marks: Benton Trophy bears no responsibility for
legal Infringements. Benton Trophy assumes that the client
has permission to use all designs asked to be reproduced
on BT&A products. The client/purchaser agrees to assume
to any liability resulting from actions or demands brought
against us for patent or copyright infringements. Logos
depicted on our site or literature are the property of
their respective owners. We assume no liability for any
disputes arising out of any alleged unauthorized use of
the artwork, logos or trademarks engraved on our products
for display purposes. We do not sell pre-engraved awards
matching those on our website or literature unless otherwise
specified or requested from the original owner of said
logo or trademark.
